Gateway, New Student Orientation & RD/RA Training

The university initiative seeks to positively affect the student from the time they arrive on campus until they leave as seniors. Each year the relationship theme for the year will be emphasized at freshman orientation. Each fall an orientation class is required for incoming students. Some aspect of the university relationship initiative will be taught in this class as well as a one time workshop. Residence life is a most effective avenue to train both new students and students who have been on campus for more than a year.
